After band practice last sunday, the guy who came to jam and subsequently joined our band told us we needed to check The Royal Bangs, cause their shit was rocking. I do have to agree that its pretty smashing. I dig the way they're fitting the synths in to it and gives me inspiration for my own band that some day I'll buy a cord long enough to bring my drum machine over to the drums, have impecible timing and rock like these guys do.

I'm excited to hear they are playing down the street from me @ South Paw in Park Slope on Oct 8th. I'll be there, especially cause my friends are actually going to be hanging in my hood this time.
