Remakes of Lara is simply put, six reworkings of Lara Brodsky's piece for voice and loop pedal, Offering the Mandala. nearly a year ago we approached lara about centering a luvsound project around her piece. a few seasons later and the work has been finished by a host of luvsound regulars and some very welcome new faces. we're incredibly excited with the results. each remake explores the source material from a different and interesting angle, exploding the original into a nearly hour long meditiation. please brew a pot of tea, find a comfortable spot, and enjoy.

Grabbed right off the ambient netlabel, LuvSound. This album was recommended to me by the curator, Erik. While I was hustling, aka working from home, I had this on my headphones. Every time I exited out of my remote desktop because the song was so good it distracted me from the mundane data slinging, it turned out to be remakes by artists IMOLFO had previous shared with you. Normally I'll post just one or two songs so you'll be intrigued enough to spend the 5 minutes clicking on the link and downloading the album, but this time it's different. I think you should hear the four tracks that jumped at me first then download the album. I recommend it's entirety for late Sunday afternoon post brunch champohjays with close friends. Its a shame I hadn't listened to it before this weekend.

Ok sorry, screw me. I got bored of videos, or its my ADD, or it might be cabin fever. All this snow, grey skies and cold weather keeps a lot of people in their homes. But here's a remedy Zivist put together for us that outlines the various moods one goes through during the frigid winter. Just incase you don't have a Ghostly syringe in you yet, here's a good one to start with. I love this song off Mux Mool's new EP, "Viking Funeral". Makes me wanna march around my office and throw dirt at my coworkers. Of course then I'd have to pillage the place and take a paid half day. The album is free for download on the Ghostly International website. I really dig the rest of the album too. Each track has a unique vibe, from synth hop to IDM. Good stuff, thanks Ghostly!

I wait. Oh how I waited days and weeks for the next Error Broadcast release. I wasn't sure for what I was waiting. I never am sure of that. But I wait because I know the result will be amazing. I join in Pixelord's awesomeness when I blast his music in my ears and look down from my highest feeling at all the other people down there listening to what they call good. If they only knew. How they would envy us. They don't have the links we have. They don't know about Error Broadcast or Pixelord. Lady Gaga has them in a strangle hold of post Madonna sickness. I listen and don't stop. Hype can puke out and sell music, but this isn't the case. Pixelord's EP, "Lucid Freaks" is perspiring the hype in a quick work out of all it's pulsating beaty muscles and determined brain sythns. Love it, can you tell?

The album is worth more than money can buy, so download it!
