Album : Pixelord - Lucid Freaks

I wait. Oh how I waited days and weeks for the next Error Broadcast release. I wasn't sure for what I was waiting. I never am sure of that. But I wait because I know the result will be amazing. I join in Pixelord's awesomeness when I blast his music in my ears and look down from my highest feeling at all the other people down there listening to what they call good. If they only knew. How they would envy us. They don't have the links we have. They don't know about Error Broadcast or Pixelord. Lady Gaga has them in a strangle hold of post Madonna sickness. I listen and don't stop. Hype can puke out and sell music, but this isn't the case. Pixelord's EP, "Lucid Freaks" is perspiring the hype in a quick work out of all it's pulsating beaty muscles and determined brain sythns. Love it, can you tell?
The album is worth more than money can buy, so download it!

Remix - KRTS - Fearless Remix
Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 12:37PM
KRTS brings us big clean bass, bob your head beats, and atmospheric synths all in an epic remix of Goonda's "Fearless" featuring MC Zulu. Not only is this track hot, but so are all the tracks on the compilation, "Nu Asian Soundz", from High Chai Recordings. The album topped the charts on beatport last month and is now bouncing in clubs around the world. Each song is the perfect track to throw in your DJ set to get the floor moving, but my favorite two are Nuphlo "Homeland Insecurity" and obviously the one in the title of this post. Listen to it below, but you got to pick up the album too.

Live - Sauce - Itchycoo Excerpt

I guess I'd call this live electronic set dubstep, but it also has a lighter and more experimental side than most dubstep I've heard. I think Sauce's edge is something not used in that genre enough. Its a perfect original mix of glitched out synth riffs, gansta rhymes and grimy beats, but doesn't leave you feeling depressed and in the need to stab someone. That was harsh at dubstep, sorry. I do like a fair share of it. This set was performed on just a Korg ESX which is pretty spectacular if you have any idea of how to work these instruments. It's ok if you don't, you're here for the music right?
This is an excerpt from Sauce's set at Itchycoo Park camp out last year put on by High Lucy Nation in Nebraska. In short, here's what he had to say about show:
This was the first time this venue had been used for many years. It used to be a DeadHead venue in the 70's. I went on at 3am Saturday night. While I was playing, some girl kept coming onto the stage and feeding me liquor.. LOTS of it. I became very drunk but the set went over well and people were dancing! Fun times.. I have been asked to return this year for the second installment. I can't wait.
It does sound and look like a great time. If you're in the area, be on the look out for this year's camp out.

Album : Dark Time Sunshine - Believe You Me

Oh.. um double post day has arrived. Means I checked out Dark Time Sunshine a few hours ago, didn't have time to check besides a listen, then the listen turned into multiple listens, then the multiple listens turned into clickety clacky, turned into "oh shit they have a free album", into love it, and time was spent wisely. I'm really into slapping good tunes up you can have for free, but my favorite is sharing music that you shouldn't have for free but lucky us, the artist is generous enough to be a like a friend and love that you listen to it with no expectation of monetary exchange, for now. Confusion haunts me on this whole business aspect of music, and many people think when its free it degrades the value of music. I particularly think music is more valuable than money. I'm saying pick your stance if you want, but you can't give bad grades for disagreeable points that aren't relative to the subject. The subject is music.
