Interview : Caribou - Swim

NY Times did a nice interview with Caribou in light of his new album "Swim". I think I just jumped on his band wagon as a stow away.

Mixes : Waer Rock - NYght Out V.2

I find it annoying when a blogger acknowledges that they've been lazy with posting. If you frequent a blog or even if you check the last post date from a blog on your first visit, its pretty damn easy to tell if the blog is on track with continuous good content. That's why I'm taking this chance to dodge an annoying apology and direct you to this awesome blog : Culture System. A friend and wonderful writer keeps it coming with great selections. He proves it with his all local NY mix, with plenty of unreleased work by great underground garage artists.

Mixes : Altitude Sickness - Tupperware Jams

OMG WTF? This is exciting. I'm a big fan of shut the fuck up about your genre and make some weird ass freak out shit. Even more so when it's live and in front of an audience. Now I'm not talking about some technical electronic music show and tell. I'm talking about artists. You know the ones that know things about aesthetic and tend to spend ridiculous amounts of time focusing to cultivate their vision. I'm finally gonna get to see Making the Noise, artist for sure. I took a listen to Altitude Sickness's Tupperware Jams mix of original music and realized The Vectory is really putting on a spectacular show of insightful electronic artists tomorrow night. Have a listen for yourself and come prepared.
